          CSWA / Sustainable Winegrowing

        • Officially certified…

          • When it comes to sustainability, we walk our talk. Every acre of our vineyards and our winery are officially certified by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA), a statewide certification program that provides third-party verification of a winegrower’s commitment to continuous improvement and the adoption and implementation of sustainable winegrowing practices. Additional certifications recognizing our commitment to sustainability include Global G.A.P., British Retail Consortium (BRC) and HACCP. We firmly believe that growing the highest-quality wine grapes and making the best wines possible can only be achieved through taking care of the land and our people.

        • The Vision

          • Long-term sustainability of the California wine community. Sustainable winegrowing as growing and winemaking practices that are sensitive to the environment (Environmentally Sound), responsive to the needs and interests of society-at-large (Socially Equitable), and are economically feasible to implement and maintain (Economically Feasible). The combination of these three principles is often referred to as the three "E's" of sustainability.
